It is rare for a 5 star review for me but this location and company is a family staple. They converted an old brick building into the roasting location. But then created this amazing coffee shop location. Is you like fourth wave coffee this is the location in the Sacramento area to experience and immerse yourself in. The staff is always so professional and helpful. They really get you, no matter who you are... The coffee?? Well is the word amazing overused? The coffee is amazing. They are innovative in the types of coffee's they offer. Just look at the pictures this time around they have made mixed drinks but with coffee instead of alcohol.. so if you are in the area stop in and enjoy the day..

what's there not to like about this location. . the patio is pretty amazing. the patio is big and lots of tables shared with the wine restaurant. there is plenty of big community tables as well. . parking wise there is a parking structure for you to park if your visiting the whole foods too. . My go to order is their ice drip, which is ice coffee. They rotate the flavor daily or every other day. I love drinking black coffee to taste the beans. I love latte and other drinks too but nothing beats a ice black coffee. . If you are here on the weekend for coffee, you also dine next door at revolution which has great brunch options. . Overall temple is still my favorite spot in sac for coffee. I just love the service, vibes of each cafe, and the coffee is consistent. Hope this review helps. Thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day. Follow me for more.

As I've been (slowly) learning more and more about Sacramento's growing food scene, two things have become increasingly clear - there's an awesome beer culture in the city and there's a seemingly abundant number of coffee shops that can be found. Both suggest that folks up here really appreciate the art and skills that goes into crafting the two, but I can't help but wonder if perhaps folks overindulging in the former also helped to create the latter as well. Either way, I'm certainly not complaining - I always enjoy a tasty, cold pint of beer, but really, it never hits the spot the way a delicious cup of coffee does! Even though my first visit to Temple Coffee came more as a byproduct of wanting to check out Pushkin's Bakery (it's located on the other side of the building), the dynamic was actually reversed for all of the other trips I've made to the two. Honestly, I just really like almost everything about this place - the decor is a bit trendy and hipster (but not in an obnoxious way), the general vibe is warm and casual, and, most importantly, the menu offerings are rather impressive. Whether you're looking for a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, Temple's menu has something for nearly every taste - French press, drip, cold brew, Americano, Gibraltar, matcha lattes, chai lattes, roughly twenty varieties of teas, Mexican Hot Chocolates, seasonal drinks, and so much more. Plus, the beans they use changes regularly, originating from countries like Colombia, Costa Rica, and Ethiopia, just to name a few, and even note if they're women produced, which is awesome of them to highlight. Of course, what's even more important is that the coffee (and tea) they put out tastes good and, yes, I can confirm - the coffee they put out does, in fact, taste good! The first time I was here, I opted to get their FRENCH PRESS ($varies), which I don't often see offered at a lot of places. Even when I do, they certainly don't give you a French press to take with you to your table so that you can pour it when you're ready (they also give you a timer so you know when they suggest pouring it out). As for how it tasted, it was terrific - I liked how robust and smooth the flavor was. In addition, I've also had their DRIP COFFEE ($4.25 large) and their COLD BREW ($6), which are a bit more straightforward, but hit the spot perfectly and also don't take as long if you are ordering to-go. Since all of my visits here have included walking over to Pushkin's, I've yet to try any of the baked goodies Temple has to offer. However, I plan on making a point of it the next time I'm here, as everything always looks so good in the display case (and in the photos on Yelp). If there was one "bad" thing about this place, it'd be that they're usually pretty busy, so snagging a table can be a little hit or miss. However, between its super convenient location and the wealth of street parking around here, Temple is perfect for a quick stop to get a caffeine fix when I'm on the go!

Street parking or park in a garage that's near the grocery store. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the Bliss and it was really good! It was peppermint tea, coconut milk, and honey, and it was perfection. They have great tea and coffee selections, and I have more to try! Recommendation(s): - Bliss Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Street parking or park in the garage that's near the grocery store - Accept Apple Pay - Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating

Really good coffee and tons of gluten free AND vegan pastry options. Their drinks were perfectly balanced and the pastries aren't too sweet, just right! We had a latte with almond milk, regular latte, double chocolate donut and morning glory donut and everything was delicious. Wish they had some locations in the Bay Area; we were just passing through Sacramento and were lucky enough to find it. Cute interior and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

I've been coming to Temple ever since high school (10 years) and they've been consistent through it all. They keep their menu and flavorings simple, my go to is always their vanilla latte but they had recently added a new syrup, brown sugar which is absolutely delicious!! The staff is always friendly and helpful as well. The inside has plenty of seating that does tend to get packed pretty quickly, but I always opt to sit outside. Their patio is beautiful and perfect if you just wanna sit and enjoy your coffee/tea or get some work done.

My recent experience at Temple Coffee Roasters was awesome! We walked over from a fun Sound bath to grab a drink. The iced mocha easily became a new favorite. What made the experience even better was the availability of an outside patio area. I absolutely loved that I could enjoy my delicious drink and cookie in the open air, soaking up the beauty of the day with friends

Done! Slightly more caffeinated that a typical day, but I finished Temple's passport today. This being the final location I needed to visit I came this afternoon instead of waiting until tomorrow morning. The associates at each location were wonderful. Had that not been the case I would not have continued. Final drink was an oat milk macchiato. I appreciate the promotion and what Temple is doing to donate to a meaningful local cause.

My best friend raved to me about Temple, a popular specialty coffee company based out of Sacramento. How could I miss the opportunity to support this locally owned and operated cafe? I'm a full supporter of cafes that serve drinks for all preferences and include a seating area. This location of Temple is perfect to sip, chill, or work at--good vibes included! Inside is quite spacious--open windows, plenty of wooden tables, and cozy music with brick walls. The outdoor patio is lush and great for basking in the fresh air. Service is the definition of friendly, fabulous, and fun! You will order with the barista, they craft it in front of you, and your drink is ready by the time you pay. As a gal partial to tea and with my friend's recommendation--I went for the Enlightenment. It was pure harmony for my body! The Jasmine green tea was floral, fragrant, and soothing while the honey gave it a slight sweetness. The soy milk was perfectly creamy since I don't drink dairy. I'd love to try their other special offerings but it seems that coffee and tea are widely available and perfected here! There are several Temple Coffee Roasters locations throughout Sacramento. This one in Midtown seems to be quite popular and busy with locals. Parking is available in the free lot. If you're looking for wonderfully prepared drinks, courteous service, and a local cafe then this is your spot!
